A woman who fell to her death from an escalator at Empower Field at Mile High at the end of a Kenny Chesney concert is survived by three daughters.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner on Wednesday identified the woman as 48-year-old Jimi Goodman. An autopsy has been completed and Goodman died from “multiple blunt force injuries.” The manner of her death has been ruled an accident.
Goodman is survived by three daughters, Melania, Nico and Eloise, according to a GoFundMe page, organized to help her family with funeral and other expenses.
“Jimi’s laugh was contagious, her immaculate energy made you feel like you were home when she hugged you and she loved her girls more than anything in the world,” said Alec Hatlestad, the GFM organizer. “She will be missed immensely every day.”
Hatlestad, who first met Goodman in kindergarten, described her best friend as a “daughter, sister, aunt and most of all, a mother.”
The GFM page has a goal of raising $15,000. As of Friday afternoon, it had raised $10,562 from 79 donations.
The accident happened at about 10:52 p.m. Saturday after Goodman had attended a Kenny Chesney concert at the stadium.
She was sitting on a railing of the escalator when she fell to the concourse below, police said.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to the loved ones of the woman involved in the tragic incident,” Empower Field said in an earlier statement.

Goodman’s death is the third fatal fall to occur at the stadium since 2015.
